One of his hands slid up the smooth wallpaper, forcing their bodies impossibly closer. George lifted his knee, hooking his calf under Obi's thigh, pressing them together, and then Obi was swearing and lifting him clean off the floor and onto the dresser, ornaments and inkwells and paperweights clattering to the floor. George put a hand on his shoulder, pushing him back. "What?" Obi said. "Your shirt," There was red high on George's cheeks, and his pupils, blown dark and wide, seemed to be searching for something in Obi's face. "Why is it still on your body?"
