#SeeYourLove was really great, just a really lovely show, and the main actor did a solid job playing deaf.
#FightForYou was cute.
I also liked #ThePromiseOfTheSoul well enough.
I feel like it was a pretty quiet year for Taiwanese dramas in general.

While binging #ThePromiseOfTheSoul, I kept thinking I was going nuts because Xia Cha (Martin Wong) looked SUPER familiar but I couldn't place him & I haven't seen any of his other works. However, I think it's that he reminds me of Chinese Actor Liu Xueyi. Maybe he doesn't though & it's just me...

Since my body refuses to sleep I just binged the #bl #ThePromiseOfTheSoul. The grandpa pulling college age ass was a bit hard for me to reconcile, but by the time I reached the last episode, it was what it was. I bought the ticket, so I took the ride. Uber strange, but I still enjoyed the show ok.

I finally finished #ThePromiseoftheSoul and although I’m not a fan of the reincarnated soulmates trope, or the way this one was initiated, I have to say I enjoyed this a lot, mainly for Martin’s performance and the second couple.

I’m about halfway through the series and the more I watch the more I’m enjoying it. I still think the concept is a little weird, but Martin Wong plays it well and adds a charm and comedic element that’s fun to watch. #ThePromiseoftheSoul

1. For a strange premise, this show was so well done.
2. The soulmate aspect was lovely and a bit sad.
3. The main couple had great chemistry and some sweet cuddle scenes.
4. 2nd couple was cute and I loved the lesbians!
