I've been desperate to understand why people support actions that seem morally WRONG.
Cue #TheRighteousMind by Jonathan Haidt.
While I didn't get the "Oh, I see why now and that's OK" moment I needed, I still recommend this very informative #book.

completely understandable, but it seems the only constructive way forward is through doubling down efforts to find common ground (pics from PDF accompanying JonHaidts #TheRighteousMind)
#TheRighteousMind is the most entertaining ethics/morality book I've read, mostly due to all the elephant imagery from its central metaphor.
