BIO: Simon G. Miller became the Smiler after a miserable life. He grew up poor, denied himself any recreation in order to pursue his studies. It paid off when he got accepted into a university on a full scholarship for a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and minoring in Social Psychology. Unfortunately an arson incident burnt down the entire school. Down on his luck he then got offered a job at the Ministry of Joy as an assistant to Dr. Kelman. Who then without Simon's knowledge signed him up for the Secret Weapon Programme to be turned into the Ultimate Correcional Device, The Smiler. This was the start of his descent into madness, he became a glorified science experiment at the cost of his future. He became a monster. Slashed a smile into his face, and began wreaking havoc and amassing smiling advocates at an alarming rate. Eventually the authorites threw him into rehab. They took out his appendages, Fixed up his smile and reconditioned him to be mostly sane once more. When he was released by order of the Ministry, his first patient since his absence was his future wife, Joy. She was aftaid of him at first but he reassured her that the process will go gently. And he was right. He tried out a gentler form of Marmalisation on her and she was calmer than ever. He healed her and in return she healed him. They got close to each other, and fell deeply in love. Now Joy works with him as the Smiler's Beloved Right Hand Woman.
