That aside, it is interesting to have a number of Eighth Doctor and Charley Pollard stories back-to-back. It makes it feel more like the TV format, and we get to know them both without any gaps.
Unfortunately, like the previous two stories, #TheStonesofVenice drags quite a bit.
From the cover, I assumed that #DoctorWho's #TheStonesofVenice was going to be an historical. A pity, as I thought it was going to be like the #NewWho approach of having Episode 1 be the Doctor meeting his new companion and then Episodes 2 and 3 being either the future/past.
