I only wish they budgeted a bit more for the costumes. It's not as good as it could be. #DrWho #TheWebPlanet

After a short break Iโ€™m returning to my #DoctorWho rewatch.

The Doctor and co have escaped Rome, and have become snared by the pull of Vortis. What is lurking at the centre? What are the Zarbi?

We will find outโ€ฆ

This is the card that made me fall in love with this set, a deep cut reference to #TheWebPlanet, which I'd go so far as to call my fav #FirstDoctor story. It's padded and drawn out like most 6-parters but I don't even mind, it's all such a fever dream. (1/3)

The Web Planet - a shocking revelation
The Web Planet - a shocking revelation YouTube video by Lucy's Insane Doctor Who Theories

New video! The latest in my Doctor Who bird revelations. Let's just say the Tardis does a lot more than merely lip sync when it translates.

New reads: escaping a little through two First Doctor adventures, which I've just re-watched for the first time in years as I slowly work through the Season Two box set.

A couple of image grabs from the same story containing Optera. Now there's a contrast.

around mid-November I started #DoctorWho from the pilot. Have now got through all the dodgy semi-historical ones (Nero is a hoot) and have reached #TheWebPlanet, with some of the best costume design of the early serials. Ant men and bee men
