Pre-game scene at the public #ThinkBike event at Drop Bear Brewery in Eugene. It was a FULL house to see these guys present Dutch cycling (and motor vehicle) planning history and vision.
Note: the fabulous Rijksmuseum panniers and Sjors' matching bicycle themed shoes and belt.
Spent the morning on an infrastructure bikabout with consultant Sjors giving Eugene planners his advice on problem streets and how to enhance greenways. His direct recs and tone is a breath of fresh air in world of change averse or jaded professionals.

"In the NL, the road tells a story to the driver about how they should behave," Sjors Van Duren.
Impressed to see how much driving and parking is referenced in #ThinkBike.
"I was a cycle campaigner in Vancouver, BC, took a trip to Holland, wrote a series of articles and a book about how North America could adopt Dutch cycling principles and landed a job with @Cycling_Embassy."
