WELCOME TO 1000 WAYS TO SIT A Gamelatron Sonic Sanctuary Why every way of sitting matters. What You've Entered This is a sonic sanctuary where 44 bronze and steel gongs create autonomous compositions that range from barely audible whispers to communal resonance. Resonance is an essential element in the flowing forest of our lives. Our sensations recognize the sound of our experiences, and our bodies understand the sensation of vibration. This is a liberating awareness. Knowing that we are here is the essential observation of this exhibitional immersion. Our sensations recognize the sound of our experiences, just as a pond's responsive ripples meet you where you are. In the Sonic Sanctuary, The Gamelatron plays itself while the room’s energy moves to meet you. Your presence is an essential part of how this experience functions. How to Sit Here (A Breathing Guide) Before you choose your seat: Stand still for a moment. Notice the room. The gongs. The light. The people near you. Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 counts. Feel and sense the air filling your lungs as wind carrying sound waves. Hold gently for 4 counts. Let the Sound-Infused Åir settle in your body. Breathe out slowly through your mouth for 6 counts. Repeat three times before you sit. As you sit: Your body becomes a receiver. Body Phones (38hz) will confirm this. The gong strikes, and your cells respond. Vibration + Science. The person next to you changes what you hear. Sound + Form. You change what they hear. Form + Sound. This exchange is happening whether you notice it or not. Sound + Silence. You don't need to do anything special. Just sit. Breathe. Be present. That is enough. You are enough. Simultaneously.
