What I recall: The Tubes- uninteresting. Peter Gabriel- incredible. Bowie- impressive. I returned to the parkade to discover I had left the Ford Courier's lights on, but by then I knew the trick was simply replacing the blown fuse. Uni was around corner. $21!

First trip to Graceland. 1988. Had a few beers at the Hound Dog Cafe across the street beforehand. When the tour guide said it was a myth EP was overweight-he just had a problem w/water retention-I laughed. I was roundly scolded by her.

The event was called Comes A Time, the Musical Tribute to Jerry Garcia, at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on Sept24,2005. There were many artists including original Grateful Dead members and String Cheese Incident band members as well as other artists who sang only Jerry Garcia songs.

The #ArtistFave15 challenge returned me to my perennial “what did I do with my three Thin Lizzy ticket stubs” question. I lost all of them. I dug out Live & Dangerous yesterday, and lo and behold this - for the middle gig in 1980 - fell out, looking sorry for itself!

I couldn't get tickets to Gary Numan's 1000th gig in Camden a couple of years ago. So made do with a tribute band before the show. A great time was had by all. The band managed to get tickets a day dashed there afterwards. I like the effort they put into their tickets.

#TicketStubWed I've always felt lucky to have seen this Pentangle reunion in 92. 3/5ths of them, at least. Back when UB still had a Folk Fest every year. What were the odds they'd come to Buffalo, of all places, on their short tour? A young Ani Difranco opened. Great night! 🎶

A work colleague went to see James at the weekend and reported of Tim Booth jumping into the crowd…
Not my first time at the rodeo - well into double figures with them - and at this gig, the closest I got to Tim when he suddenly appeared in Block 115!
Seeing them again on Saturday!

*Made a friend who was scoring free concert tickets to the Concord Pavilion and he kept offering me miracles. I said yes please and thank you to every ticket he offered. Once he showed up and said, Supertramp tonight, and the band FUCKING ROCKED! Instantly became a fan on Aug11,1997.

Madonna at Giants Stadium NJ in August 1987 for the Who’s That Girl Tour. I was 16 with my aunt and her friends, my first stadium show. Seats were waaay up high, like closer to the planes overhead than the stage, but I was still awestruck. #madonna #whosthatgirl

Third week in a row, a ticket found in a CD. First concert after we moved back to the area. T-bird cat got out upin our return. Didn't see her for a week until the neighbour spotted her sauntering up the road in the dark. Great concert, tho. #JohnWortHannam
