Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a blue dress Photo of a blue denim midi dress with a tie-front bodice (SimplyBe)
#TodayImWearing my tie front denim dress again. It’s warm enough that I don’t need a tee shirt under it
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing leopard print trousers and a charcoal grey hoody Photo of a pair of crepe leopard print trousers (H&M) Photo of a charcoal grey merino wool hoody ( Wrap London)
#TodayImWearing leopard print again. This time it’s trousers, which will never be worn outside the house
Fashion drawing of a woman in a leopard print dress Close up photo of the hem of the dress, with a black broderie anglaise edging Photo of the upper part of a leopard print shirt style midi dress (SimplyBe)
#TodayImWearing leopard print. I like the shape of this dress, but in a very surprising occurrence, it was shorter than I like, so I added a strip of wide broderie anglaise edging to the bottom, sewn on the inside of the hem to look like a petticoat. I’m pleased with the result
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing blue trousers, a white t shirt and blue & white shoes Photo of a pair of bright blue cotton drill trousers with a drawstring waist (Lucy & Yak)
A pair of old willow pattern Doc Martens shoes with dark blue soles. I only wear these in spring and summer. They don’t “feel” right for the colder months
#TodayImWearing blue trousers. I’m practicing drawing feet, because I find them difficult. Here are the shoes I drew today
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a green dress Photo of a forest green cotton dress with a silver lamé pinstripe (East). This is a few years old but doesn’t get worn very often Close up of the dress fabric showing the silver stripe detail
Easter Sunday, and #TodayImWearing a posh frock. It has glitter. Yes, in the daytime

Photo of the back of the jumper, showing the buttons up the back.
#TodayImWearing chinos and the red version of the jumper I wore yesterday. They were in the same bag of clothes I got out of storage. Interestingly (or not 😄), the stripes on the red one are half as wide again as the stripes on the blue one

#TodayImWearing my first-ever pair of chinos with a trucker jacket and one of the many pairs of DMs I’ve collected over the years

Photo of the “Effie” tie front denim midi dress (Aligne)
#TodayImWearing a denim dress. I bought this last summer. It will need something long-sleeved under it until the weather warms up a bit. It is almost the same as a dress from a posher brand that I liked but had sold out. The denim is actually better quality for about a tenth of the price
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a red cotton dress with long sleeves and a shirred bodice Photo of a red cotton maxi dress with slightly belled long sleeves and a shirred bodice (Omnes) Photo of a red loop-stitch wool waistcoat (Oliver Bonas) Photo of a red cardigan with a pink embroidered flower (Omnes)
#TodayImWearing a red cotton dress. If I buy a midi dress, it will always be a maxi on me. If I buy a maxi dress, I will always have to shorten it. For this one, I opted to make pin tucks rather than a straight hem. I haven’t decided which top layer to wear yet
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing an army green dress and hooded jumper Photo of a khaki green jersey dress with shirt sleeves (George). The top is ribbed and the skirt is smooth jersey Photo of the back view of a hooded merino wool jumper in soft moss green (Wrap London). The jumper is exactly the same style as the Prussian blue one I have been wearing a lot this year
#TodayImWearing army green. My first foray into short sleeves, and a reminder of why I don’t buy jersey skirts and dresses. The hang is all wrong on me. Also wearing the green version of my wool hoody. The hoody is a keeper. The dress is not
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a fancy knitted waistcoat over a navy blue dress Photo of a knitted waistcoat in a claret and Klein colourway (Black & Beech) Photo of a navy blue half-and-half jersey and poplin dress with long sleeves, a collar and pockets (George)
#TodayImWearing my Woman Power waistcoat over a navy dress. Have only worn this with trousers before, so wasn’t sure how it would work with a dress. I think it’s ok

Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a beige Fairisle jumper over a brown dress. Photos, from top: Asteria recycled polyester jumper in chalk with a gingerish Fairisle pattern (Weird Fish) Coffee brown cotton dress with jersey top and poplin skirt (M&S)
Turned chilly again, and it’s a housework day, so #TodayImWearing my old brown half and half dress and a Fairisle jumper
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing blue trousers, a blue shirt and a blue& maroon waistcoat Photos from top: lake blue shirt with jersey body and viscose sleeves (Weird Fish); Klein and claret lambs wool Fairisle waistcoat (Black & Beech); denim blue barrel leg cords (Next) The waistcoat has text knitted into the stripes: “NO GRIT NO PEARL” and “WOMAN POWER”
#TodayImWearing the same cords as yesterday, with a dressier shirt and a waistcoat
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a blue hoody over a Breton top Photos from top: a Breton top (Amazon Essentials, don’t judge me); a Prussian blue merino wool hoody(Wrap, a few years old); a pair of denim-blue corduroy jeans with barrel legs and a button fly (Next, this year)
#TodayImWearing lightweight corduroy jeans, a Breton top and a wool hoody. Getting the last few wears out of the cords before they get put away until next autumn. I’ve noticed people say what brands things are when they make this sort of post, so I’ll do the same, if I remember
Clockwise from top left: fashion drawing of a woman wearing a yellow dress and waistcoat; photo of a yellow and black Fairisle waistcoat; close-up photo of a woman wearing a yellow and black gingham dress; photo of two yellow cross-body handbags, one small with a flower trim, to fit a phone, the other a slightly larger but still quite small Radley “pockets” bag. They are both much more yellow than they look in the photo.
#TodayImWearing my yellow gingham dress and my yellow waistcoat, because it isn’t warm enough to go jumperless yet. I have a choice of yellow bags. The little one with the flower fits my phone exactly, with room for earbuds in the pocket
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing grey trousers and a mustard shirt and pullover Photos, from top: mustard satin shirt; grey Prince of Wales check wide trousers; mustard and grey Fairisle knitted waistcoat; close up of the shirt and waistcoat with a yellow fake-fur scarf
#TodayImWearing yellow to cheer myself up. A very old mustardy satin blouse with the same grey trousers as yesterday. Over the top is a mustard Fairisle waistcoat, and because it’s still not properly spring, a fluffy scarf to keep the draught off my neck. Can you tell I like textures?
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing grey trousers and hoody Photo of a grey hooded t-shirt Photo of a pair of grey Prince of Wales check trousers
#TodayImWearing grey. Grey wide-legged trousers in a Prince of Wales check, with a hooded t-shirt. The hood is very large and floppy, and is completely impractical
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing red pullover over a white blouse with a large collar trimmed in red Photo of a white cotton blouse with a large pointed collar trimmed with red embroidery Close up photo of one sleeve of a white blouse
#TodayImWearing a “statement” blouse. I think it might look better with a grey pullover to match my grey trousers, but I don’t have one, so the red will have to do. I’m not sure if I like this. The collar won’t stay put, and the sleeves feel enormous
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing spotty jeans and a navy blue shirt Photo of a navy linen men’s shirt Photo of a pair of wide-legged jeans in a mid-blue with a pattern of small white spots
#TodayImWearing new spotty denim jeans and a men’s linen shirt that was given to me by someone who didn’t like the fit. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll keep it
Fashion drawing of a woman in a fuchsia coloured dress Photo of a (slightly creased) fuchsia needlecord dress showing the button fastening all the way down the back
#TodayImWearing a fuchsia needlecord dress. This one almost went out in last year’s cull, on account of the sleeves being a bit flouncy. I’m glad I kept it. If I wear it outside the house, I always have a full length petticoat underneath in case of a back-buttons mishap
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a dark blue dress Photo of a dark blue dress with long sleeves and a collar. The top is ribbed jersey and the skirt is poplin
#TodayImWearing my dark blue half-and-half dress again
Fashion drawing of a woman wearing a dress with a black top and a leopard print skirt Photo of a dress with a black ribbed jersey top and a skirt in blurred leopard print poplin
#TodayImWearing leopard print. The picture is the same one I have used before. Imagine the hair a bit shorter because I have had a haircut since the last time I wore this dress
