This week I started setting out some cut flower bouquets for neighbors. If they want they can pay what they want. So one person left $10. I used that to buy 7 vases. And now there are fresh bouquets in vases for anyone in the neighborhood who’d like them.

The first thing I checked once I got home from the writing retreat was my garden. I set up an irrigation system (found it for $25 at the end of last fall.)
I’m happy to report that it is working beautifully and the zinnias are starting to blossom!
