I watched Tokyo Override. The animation is gorgeous. I really liked the characters but I think the story was a bit too rushed. This show definitely could've benefitted from a couple of extra episodes to really flesh out the world and the story. Still, it was a fun watch.

#TokyoOverride is unwatchable. the middle- and long-distance shots are animated well, but when it comes to closer shots, seeing the characters interact, the drop in frame rate or whatever throws or me bodily out of the action and storyline. couldn't finish Ep 1 😑 quit doing this type of shit omg

So #TokyoOverride is pretty fucking awesome! it's a techno thriller set in a futuristic Japan, and we follow a rag-tag group of bikers called Suma Garage. It features a great voice cast, stellar animation from Riff Studios, and unique architecture from designer Joshua Dawson.

Like, I will never get over how pretty this show is. The first set of 4 are just pretty scenes early in the episode so no worries.

Enjoying #TokyoOverride. Kinda dark. It looks like it’s painted. All their faces have so many different hues and textures. Instead of one flat color + shadow you see in most animations. Also, I swear it reminds me of this video game that I have, I think on my Nintendo switch.
