But that was appropriate for a Goddess, was it not? Did She not deserve such fervent adoration, such thick and layered poetry? He'd haughtily kept that knowledge to his chest during the courting (or, at least, what he'd thought was a courting) and conjured ever greater poems in Her name. Yet now, now... he felt less given to lavish Her with such, but felt more than capable of spinning them for a mortal man.
