I spent the better part of this year so far catching up on stuff I may have overlooked & will never hear it all. A fool’s errand but well worth the effort. Still, my Top 10 largely remained unchanged except for going for Big Thief over McMurtry.

One of the best death/sludge/doom metal pairings I have ever heard. As a fan of both seperate projects both these musicians come together to make this demonic masterpiece of an album. Loved listening to every part of this album

It's a tie between these two. Both are absolutely amazing black metal albums that caught my attention this year. I couldn't put one over the other. Both deserve this ranking.
