But the sheer weight of 10-point songs is far and away the worst part of these challenges.
Feel slightly embarrassed that I opened day 1 of #Top24of24 with The Spark glibly proclaiming that everyone had forgotten about it.

We've definitely come a long way from the start of #Top24of24 when you and I and maybe Dave were each separately wondering if anybody else was going to throw Atmos Blaq a mention
unlike, say, oh, that Poppy track, which has the opposite effect on me, on both counts
(the Bambie Thug Eurovision track I had in my #top24of24 worked for me because of the transitions from the noise into utter beauty and back out again)
“A Soul That’s Been Abused”, Diamanda Galás #Top24of24 - very much bending the rules here as it’s far from a new track (Galás released a studio single in 2009, even). But, a Galás album is a rare gift, and these live performances are extremely Her. Mother, etc:

A lot of my #top24of24 are scattered throughout dance, rnb and the above. And a few artists I made nicher choices for that got waylaid too. Nobody should've told me about tactics.

For me, I’m picking songs that were not in my #Top24of24 list, and thinking about what I main, will probably be some canon-fodder metal track, but oh well!
