Meeting my daughter for an after-work (her) drink at a pub near #LondonBridge. Got here first so ordered for me: large glass of house red & packet of crisps. £13.00! THIRTEEN QUID! I can get 3 bottles of #ToroLoco for that at my local Aldi and have enough over for a multipack of crisps! #Inflation

MrT is away for a few days so a simple supper of eggy toast (using up the stale end of a sourdough loaf #WasteNotWantNot) w/ #Branston baked beans; cheese biscuits & medjool dates for afters. 2 glasses of #Aldi #ToroLoco. And - as my old mum used to say 'I wouldn't call the queen my aunt!'
