Makeshift memorial for a dead raccoon. Green paper says “RIP Theodore, unknown-2025, Gone Not Forgotten” There’s also some jars with roses, and a candle **Stop screen reader here to avoid description of animal** . . . The raccoon is laying belly up with it’s mouth open and arms spread over it’s head. (It likely died from electric shock from wires above (not in image) as hydro workers are in the area working on an outage)
a makeshift “in memoriam” booklet for people to sign with markers & pens is now beside the RIP sign & flower jars. Some people have left other offerings, like a drawing of a raccoon, a peanut, & a tobacco offering in the form of Native Cigarettes
Close up image of the candle, tobacco cigarettes and raccoon drawing. The drawing has a little Angel halo above its head & the words Rest In Peace around it.
Inner page of the in memoriam booklet that reads: Returned to the great bin in the sky!
