The Awesome Threesome come from Aquaman 36 (way back in 1962) and an episode of the Aquaman Animated Series. Torpedo Man got a redesign since he appeared in some newer comics.

I gave the other 2 Awesome Threesome members redesigns to match Torpedo Man. I wanted them o be throwbacks to old sci-fi robots while also designing their parts to match up with my design for the Scavenger’s next look. These guys would be great examples of the characters the Scavenger piecemeal into his own tech.

I figure if Magneto came back he’d need a new name like Ferrite, Magna-Man or Electret.

Tula is a high-class Atlantean who, int he new 52, is also (or “just”, I wasn’t sure) a warrior in Aquaman’s army. This look is a combination of her regular clothing with some armour. I would imagine her as taking the look on to match with Tempest and Aquaman’s hero aesthetic, while being introduced in either Ocean Master’s uniform to show she’s high in the social rankings or in a regular Man-Of_War suit. I mostly went off her new 52 look, but added the Atlantean motifs I normally do, and a shell which I’ve put on every Atlantean military officer (I imagine it like a police badge or military dog tag). I would want there to be a stable set of uniforms for each rank of the Atlantean military (Ocean Master’s uniform for high ranking royalty, gold metallic bands for commoners fo the same rank, Men-of-War, specialty groups with specific uniforms).
