This rather unhappy looking British #Roman lady is part of the @British Museum collection. She was found in #Towcester. The eyes are set close together under a furrowed brow - what the story is behind her expression is lost in time! Probably wondering when January will end!

The tower has 4 stages, a clock in the 3rd and the louvres in the 4th. There are crenelations. The church is behind the tower, the north aisle is partially visible. The sky is a uniform grey and it looks a bit chilly.

Hannah rang her first peal on 12 bells at Towcester on Saturday. The band rang Cambridge Surprise Maximus. We're told the girl done good, Well done, Hannah!

Recent Ringing
The band at Towcester rang a quarter peal ahead of the service of None Lessons & Carols. They rang Cambridge Maximus and it was Olivia's first quarter peal on 12 bells. Well done!

A peal was rung at Tpwcester at the weekend. It was of Stedman (the very best of methods).
It was the 250th peal that Ann & John have rung together. Congratulations to them both.
