"Seasonal service features include bike trailers and ski boxes for the convenience of riders to stow their equipment."
We should be able to do bike trailers for #TrailheadDirect here in King County. The Mt. Si route stops blocks from the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. @cascade.org @kingcounty.gov
Last Sunday our #TrailheadDirect crawled through downtown traffic on its return trip. Again I say, bus riders should always have priority. That includes when they’re empty (ours was near capacity btw) so drivers can get back to base or to whatever route they are on their way to serve.
Smiling people on a bus, selfie mode.
Heading out on #TrailheadDirect with @futurewise.bsky.social and these fresh faces. Gonna connect to Snoqualmie Valley shuttle to regional gem Tolt-MacDonald Park.
We've tried to go to Tolt-McDonald Park by bus a couple times, but had an unexpected event and then a bridge closure. The bridge is finally open, so hopefully can get out there this summer by Trailhead Direct and then the SVT shuttle! kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dnrp... #TransitTrek #TrailheadDirect
This reminds me that this technically adds a trailhead to the #TrailheadDirect inventory because Mercer Slough is right there at the station.
Oh! Eastside! Looks like both #TrailheadDirect routes are stopping at S. Bellevue Station. @moveredmond.org @eastsideurbanism.org

So cool, ran into someone on the bus whose partner coaches HS cross-country. Last summer they used #TrailheadDirect to train in the Issaquah Alps.
If you love sunflowers and small farms, you are in luck. Now that there's weekend transit to Snoqualmie Valley, connect via #TrailheadDirect and enjoy the Sunflower Festival car-free now thru mid-September. Main event in Carnation on Sept. 7
Handmade sign advertising directions to U-Pick blueberries at a rural intersection.
A dark blue bucket half full of blueberries. I picked about 5 pounds and succeeded in getting RH to actually relax and do nothing for a little while.
I got tipped off to u-pick blueberries w/i cycling distance of North Bend #TrailheadDirect stop. #BlueberriesNotBlueAngels
A little anecdata in support @CascadeBicycle. On the 10:35 #TrailheadDirect & later runs usually no issue w room for bikes. But racks filled at Denny/Bway, so folks at Spring were out of luck. cc: @seabikeblog.social.ridetrans.it.ap.brid.gy
The weekend service also opens up easier access to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail for cyclists. Great reason for Metro to try adding some bike trailers to the #TrailheadDirect and maybe partnering with Cascade Bicycle Club to promote that.

Beginning Saturday, August 17th
@SVTbus (Snoqualmie Valley Transit)
will run *WEEKEND* service on its Valley Shuttle route between North Bend and Duvall.
This means Seattle-ites can hop on #TrailheadDirect to North Bend & catch SVT to one of the best camping parks around - Tolt MacDonald.
King County Metro is adding the Eastgate stop back to the Issaquah Alps #TrailheadDirect route starting tomorrow. kingcountymetro.blog/2024/07/18/n...
POV a full bus with people standing cos there’s no more seats and there are still people boarding up front.
#TrailheadDirect SRO w full bike rack out of downtown for the 7:39 a.m. run. Gonna need a bigger bus. Or a 2nd bus for the 1st run o the day. 🚌🚲🥾
