Online. I spent it irl, caring for transgender family. Long drives, stressful traffic, mis gendering, long hard stares from men, emergency rooms and little to no sleep. Keep transitioning, keep loving each other, it’s worth it, it’s lots of work but worth it. 🏳️⚧️❤️🩹

I got attacked for being the first pre-surgery trans masc person on a public advert for a gay sauna a few years ago, but I would do it again in a heartbeat because representation matters.
We exist. We fight on.
I just want folks to know that I realize I misspoke by calling today anything other than Transgender Day of Recognition. I apologize for this error (honestly an autocorrect error) and assure you all that won’t happen again.
