I voted for Craig Sauvé for mayor of Montréal, with no expectation he would actually win, because Transition Montréal's stated platform is closest to my left wing beliefs than any other party. I actually lean somewhat further left than #TransitionMontreal on some issues, such as taxing the rich.

I'm not convinced Craig Sauvé & #TransitionMontreal split the vote. I expect many if not most TM voters were fed up with #ProjetMTL.

Well as far as that goes, I believe both Stephanie Valenzuela & Sonny Moroz are dedicated to being genuine #PublicServants for the citizens of #CDNNDG. That's why I voted for Stephanie for mayor of CDN-NDG even though I lean further left than #TransitionMontreal.

I voted Craig Sauvé for mayor.

It's not just a question of "backing Craig". It's a question of which political party's policies most align with your own principles & ideals. For me that party is #TransitionMontreal for multiple reasons, inc. promoting a more collaborative approach, & seeking much needed #ElectoralReform.
