What a book! It's amazing! A stand alone with some secret shout-outs to the mistborn series. No you don't have to have read them before hand. It's a lovely tale of love and adventure in a new world filled with new dangers. Highly recommend!

#TressoftheEmeraldSea by #BrandonSanderson has a lighter more comedic tone despite the action sequences definitely landing more Adult. If you've bounced off of Sanderson books before like I have, this one stuck for me. I think it's a good mostly singular story with a fun worldbuilding idea. 📚💙
#TheLostMetal and #TressOfTheEmeraldSea are now complete, leaving me with just one more #Cosmere book for now. I ended up thoroughly loving Wax, Wayne, and their relationship. MeLaan was my favorite though. And Tress... What a lovely book, gave me #PrincessBride and #Stardust vibes.
