Another native #bee on a #Triggerplant - this one larger and it both hovered in front of me in a vaguely aggressive way and landed on my arm - Megachile perhaps - smaller than a blue-banded bee but flight similar #wildoz

If that’s not cool enough, the flowers are capable of rapid movement! This mechanism is unrelated to its mode of nutrient acquisition.
