A Gaillardia pulchella wildflower (also called Indian Blanket, Firewheel, Girasol Rojo) was blooming in Norman, Oklahoma, United States on May 4, 2025. There is an indian blanket fungus weevil (trigonorhinus limbatus) on the flower. The flower is lit by sunshine while nearby foliage is in dark shade.
