When the switch to Iceflake was announced, I wan't very hopeful, but they've really proven their skill in improving the game, listening to the community and communicating openly.

New mayor has been elected! This one is quite car friendly, and his first action was to widen the main street up to to the rail bend in anticipation of traffic volumes due to a future development in the area. A widening all the way into the city is planned as well.

In this show you can really see the division between mid - high density Downtown and low density Harrison George Park created by the agreement to disallow any medium or high density developments in the latter.

This is one of the ends of the second bus line. Buses constantly got stuck in traffic in theend loop, so the city decided to redesign the area and make parts of the loop bus-only. The opportunity was also used to add some of the first bike lanes into the city.

Expansion of the rail infrastructure to increase efficiency :)
This two-way, single track section was a huge bottleneck with cargo and passenger trains having to wait for each other. Now, with it being expanded into two tracks, throughput is massively increased.

Mayor Hayes took this opportunity to split the entire city into multiple districts to better facilitate the administration of the city.

To get the residents of the tip of the peninsula to stop the media campaign, mayor Hayes agreed with them to never develop the area beyond single-family homes. The tip also became the first district and named after the city's conservative founder, Harrison George.

What shoud've been an unequivocal sucess for mayor Hayes instead turned into a bit of a PR nightmare as the rich and powerful from the tip of the peninsula decided to start a media campaign against the train station project.

It is finally time for the construction of the first passenger rail connection into Trinity Gate! This strip between the highway and hte main street will be the location for the rail line.

As the first major act in his second term, mayor Hayes drafted a plan to losen the strict low-density housing zoning around the castle ruin park, which would allow for denser housing and shops to be developed.

Andrew Hayes had a very successful first term in office and his approval rating rose significantly through his successful projects. He thus got elected into a second term as mayor of Trinity Gate, promising even more growth and improvements in the future.

As the last action in his first term, mayor Hayes has kickstarted the local offshore fishing industry with the first offshore fish farm.
