Up through #TroubledBlood it was all fun and games.
I had stumbled upon a beautifully shot & calming tv show that turned out to be a quirky book that I immediately identified with which revealed characters I never thought about before

I think that is partly why #TroubledBlood ranks low on my favorite to least favorite list for the series- margot margot margot - it's distracting and taking time away from Joan & Ted & Cornwall

#TroubledBlood Polworth definitely summed up a male perspective that I see demonstrated by guys. They don't particularly care/interested love/enjoy women, but they do men but sometimes living a conventual life w/women is easier (in their minds) in the communities they reside

J. K. Rowling writing a story about online hate and dropping in a few lines about transphobia is provocative, to say the least.

However, #TheInkBlackHeart, just like #TroubledBlood isn't a transphobic book.

I wasn't too far off with my predictions about the killer either.

Just finished reading #TroubledBlood and enjoyed it as I did the last 4 books. Some say it's transphobic – and I'm no expert on the topic – but those claims seem ridiculous.
A killer sometimes wearing a wig to deceive victims (not a spoiler) has little to do with being trans.

#TroubledBlood has 920 pages. Looking forward to that. I really like the Strike novels so far.

I was really looking forward to #TroubledBlood and I would have liked to enjoy it without any controversy around the book or author ...
