JoyToy TMNT Turtle Van Apparently, I needed another Turtle Van. The Batmobile. The Time Machine. Ecto-1. The Turtle Van! Yes, I am placing the iconic vehicle of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the same category as those unforgettable franchise vehicles. And the crazy thing is that of those four, only one of them has never existed in live-action and it's, of course, the Turtle Van.

I went nearly 40 years of my life with only one Turtle Van, but suddenly I find myself buried in them! The latest one just might be the greatest and it comes courtesy of JoyToy. Is 1:18 scale the way to go? Let's check it out! #TurtleTuesday

Super7 TMNT Ultimates! Shredder (2003) Here comes the bad guy. They say that breaking up is hard to do. I feel like I've been slowly breaking up with Super7 for a couple of years now. The relationship began with a "will they, won't they," feel when Super7 announced its line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates! at the then high price of $45 each. Did I need recreations of the toys I had as a kid in a new scale and better articulation?

For the second week in a row, #TurtleTuesday belongs to the Shredder! This time, it's the 2003 version from Super7's latest wave of TMNT Ultimates!. I wasn't impressed with the first wave so maybe Shredder can redeem the young line, or maybe this is where Super7 and I part ways.

NECA TMNT Mirage Studios The Shredder – Worms of Madness Bring on the madness! NECA's dance with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles began way back in 2008 with a set of four turtles based on the first issue of the comic series. That set would then have other figures crafted around it of which most were cancelled, but when the license opened up and TMNT proved a hot seller they all found their way into the hands of collectors.

Let's get silly this #TurtleTuesday. NECA gave us new turtles based on the art of Jim Lawson years ago and they needed a new Shredder to fit in with them stylistically. NECA delivered, but unfortunately also stuck him in a two-pack with a variant you might not want.

Leave no turtle behind.
