R.I.P to the rest of my vods from 2024 that are going to get deleted by twitch tommorow (praying that yt hurries up and uploads everything) I had 776 hours and 8 mins before I was deleting vods myself, I have 4 years of vods on here too-

In case you don't know, Twitch streamers, you can add emotes to your Blocked Terms And Phrases list (under Moderation) to prevent them being used in your chat.

So you can block this AI slop ever being used in your stream by adding the exact emote name, i.e. "CatintheChat".

After a mental break from streaming, I came back today to stream on Twitch.

I'm not planning on streaming tomorrow, as I've been keeping up with the news about #adayofftwich and #twitchdobetter and fully agree that Twitch needs to protect marginalized streamers and creators!

I continue to maintain that Twitch should invest basic machine learning that a GTX 980 could handle to detect alternate variants of offensive words automatically but also accounts using those words in their names or even obvious stuff like literally “hate raid” #TwitchDoBetter

This blew up (by academic standards), so in the tradition of such: I support #Bigger6 #BIPOC18 #RealCollege #CiteBlackWomen. This week especially, #TwitchDoBetter & make streaming safer for marginalized content creators who give so much. And please, as someone in AL: vax, mask.

I haven't said much about #TwitchDoBetter outside of RTs and that's honestly bc I'm afraid of being targeted. A hate raid feels so much more like a 'when' than an 'if' at this point and that's terrifying.

Project of the evening while I have time and at least a few spoons- switching as many Twitch subs as I can figure how to another platform. Will it make a difference to Twitch/Amazon? Who knows. Hopefully, if enough will switch. #TwitchDoBetter

Fair warning: this is me, as soon as I get home, recording straight for 20 minutes and then adding on some pop-ups and a few textual comments in low-tech iMovie edits. In theory I could do this live on Twitch, but this is NO WEEK to stream on Twitch (#TwitchDoBetter)
