Funny story! We’re reading “The Gingerbread Man” learning about fairytale, story sequence etc. Having many ELL learners, I like to reinforce vocab quite a bit. So, I ask “What sound does a cow make?” Literally ALL sts reply: “/k/ /ow/“ (I expected “moo!”)

Apologize for my ignorance: what is DRA?

My kids’ elementary school adopted #UFLI last year & the progress was AMAZING. My daughter’s K had used a different program the year prior so I could compare to my son’s K success & watch her accelerate in 1st.

Teachers! Please look into #UFLI. The growth I am seeing after using UFLI for 2 months is like nothing I have ever seen before. I have a classroom full of readers!

I DRAed students last week. They made huge jumps, thanks to #UFLI. I am excited to start back up.
