After our volunteer shift at the #USWO, we headed to the grandstands on the par 5 18th hole, which was one of the hardest holes today. The pin was in the back left. Any approach shot 10 feet past the hole slowly, then quickly, rolls down the hill into dense rough.

Today at the #USWO held at Erin Hills Golf Course, my wife and I were able to follow around the threesome of #SophiaPopov (Germany), #AnnaNordqvist (Sweden), and #HinakoShibuno (Japan). We quit after their front nine because some weather was moving in. Shibuno is currently tied for 3rd.

My wife and I arrived at Erin Hills Golf Course for our volunteer shifts later this afternoon at the #USWO. It is raining and there aren’t very many spectators or players for this practice round.
