Proof copies of both books. Shrapnel Boys has a blue foiled cover and features silhouettes of what I think are Spitfire planes and a quote from author Phil Earle: ‘Jenny Pearson puts her brand of brave, spirited kids in the middle of their very own war.’ Under a Fire-Red Sky has a red cover which shows searchlights being shone upwards towards aircraft which are flying over them. It bears the tagline: An unforgettable WWII story from two-time Carnegie-winning author’ (Geraldine McCaughrean).
