A deep red-coloured flatworm free swims against a black background during a dusk/night dive. The red body is marked lengthwise with thin white lines and the edges of the mantle are black. The swimming movement makes the animal look like an undulating piece of colourful silk.
Hola cielitos lindos. My UW pic of the day is from Malapascua, The Philippines, 2006. The Lighthouse site is a mandarinfish dive, but besides the spawning fishes, you can come across many other fantastic critters, like this Pseudobiceros fulgor flatworm. A very lucky shot.
