Unseen Wounds I've been trying to get at The core wound in me She's there I can feel her I've been trying to reach out And tell her I'm on her side I want to take care of her But she's been betrayed, Hurt, and gone through the unthinkable Nevertheless I gently speak to her Try to coax her back home Something must have moved, Something must have worked, I woke up this morning to a pain In my heart chakra ❤️ A pain so deep, it cannot be described As I lay there I felt it I allowed myself to feel That which she has had to feel all of these years And I was grateful to feel it To take take burden from her I will keep trying To heal her wounds And feel what she had to hold inside All those years ago.
