Junior, my stuffed orangutan, is sitting on a parade float with oversized, colorful palm fronds and other exotic foliage. Carl from the movie "Up" is standing on a platform above Junior, while Dug is standing on his hind legs waving to the crowd from the back of the float. A miniature version of Carl's house suspended by its many, colorful balloons hangs over the top of the float. Junior, who freely converses with people, was a little unnerved by a talking dog. Yes, the irony was lost on him.
