Checked a good area of #UpperLoughErne at #Inishcreenry where I had a pair of #RingNeckedDuck back in March. Difficult area to view, but sure enough, there among the distant Tufties, were two female RNDs. No sign of any drakes though.

A few #birding highlights from the Christmas period across the Irish Sea. #BonapartesGull at #Ballygalley, #DoubleCrestedCormorant at #DoonLough, #GreenWingedTeal at #Ballintemple and one of two #RingNeckedDuck (honest) on #UpperLoughErne. Always a great trip out west.
