A page of some sort of bestiary about a small costal dragon witht this description : 
Tiamti
Small-sized and webfooted dragons. This specie is found all around the Gulf of Djol. Not really aggresive nor fearfull, they are known to steal unattended food. It has been reported that some tried to steal pets.
Nesting on cliffs they stay out of danger, if needed they spray a saline solution to try and make an escape. Capable of drinking fresh and saltwater

WEAVING
Weaving is a spell art founded on intention. It’s similar to glyphs but based on instinct, like doing calculus in your head rather than on paper.
Spells are unnatural alteration of the world, fuelled by intention what make them possible is the usage of Maana or Alcaali. Learning a new spell is about understanding the orders needed. A difficult feat since most beings inherently weave with instinct. 

THE 3 FAMILIES

Summation spells
manifest the chaotic aspect of Maana
or Alcaali to do the impossible

Elemental Spells
reshape the fabric of the material 
world like clay

Focalization spells
concentrate Maana or Alcaali to influence 
yourself and your suroundings



Unrelated to the families another distinction is made:

Those using Pure Maana/Alcaali, to distort the world in strange ways but never affect inorganic things. (magic missiles, shield)
Those using Elementaly infused Maana, to alter the fabric of the world but can’t affect living beings (any spell using 1 of the element)

GLYPHS
First paragraph :
The art of glyphs is a type of etching, they contain elemental spells and can be activated by imbuing enough Maana in the glyph.
These spells are written along a segment, from start to finish it make a temporality. By adding orders to a specific point on the line we create steps the spell has to follow. 

Paragraph at the center:
To prolong a spell or make it delayed we need to add fillers orders that doesn’t disturb too much. But it demand more Maana and can destabilize the spell

the four elements : Mineral, Energetic, Hydraulique and Aerial

Second paragraph : But the spell need to affect an element. Next to the line we add one of the symbol. Finer details like the type of liquid, gaz, mineral or energy are generaly defined by the spellcaster but can be specified in the glyph. 
It’s a quick and easy way to cast a spell, but also needy in energy. Since the target of the spells are very specific they tend to create what they affect. Or else they are made really generic to limit the Maana usage.

They stay dormant in the diggestive system during a long time, stocking ressources before waking up, growing one spike at a time, piercing the host from the inside. This is often lethal for small animals and as the carcass decay it break free and rise in the sky where all the flying skimmers feed. Eventually causing them to crash down, a nice banquet for the ground dwellers.

Maana is a ressource and like all ressources it’s sometime more effective to extract it from other. However the majority of Maana parasites aren’t actively parasiting, and are more like accidental parasites. As they absorb Maana from their surrounding they drain it from other living organisms too (even plants can be parasites)

Draconids
I recently encoutered another sapient specie, I have never seen them In my homeland. They look like scaly humans, surely they are part of the dragon family and evolved to look humanoid.
Generaly known to be resilient and strong Males and Females look alike. They’re found all around Urkist sporting a lot of variety in their appearance

Draconic Features
Every individuals are remarquably unique, two draconids, even from the same family can have big differences like horns, tusks, a tail or whatever else.I am not sure why but their body seem to develop unique traits sometime even magic ones(markings).

Traditions
As their sense of smell is better than humans and avians, draconid communities use fragrances as a way to express their identity and gender. Lack of smell is a big stygma in those places.
Another common thing in all draconid groups is the creation of one scarf like clothing for newborns, this cloth is keept throught all their life, It’sa really important part of their identity
