The difference a playoff can do for the #USMNT: if Kosovo beats Türkiye, it would have taken Group D's average rating from 26.25 to 40.25. So, the average rating would have been 2nd weakest instead of 2nd strongest of the #WorldCup groups.

Now that the #WorldCup groups are fully finalized, I took the updated FIFA rankings (as of 1am ET) and calculated the average rating for each group. Groups I, D (with the #USMNT), and F have the strongest average ratings, while Group B has the highest average group rating.
