But I think one day while Kaigaku has left Zenitsu alone, he meets Tengen who takes him under his wing of sorts. Demon Tengen doesn’t feel emotions anymore and finds the young demon fascinating. He also helps Zenitsu start to move on and accept his situation

Poor little Zenitsu is very emotional as a demon, always alternating between extremes. Crying one moment only to lash out the next if something upsets him

Kaigaku only turned Zenitsu because he wanted a weaker demon he could bully that wouldn’t leave him
