Anyone coming until they were within inches of the door because only first floor rooms had egress windows, upstairs had none. Since the doors opens out toward the hallway, we wouldn't have been able to barricade the door. Folks would be sitting ducks.

A gold and black banner that hangs at t mobile arena in Vegas, the home of the golden knights. It says Vegas strong at the top, has 58 stars, and has the date of the shooting at the bottom. The banner was erected in honor of the lives lost on Oct 1st at the route 91 music festival. The event coincided with the date one of the very first games the knights played as a team, during which the team gave a speech and vowed to lift out community up in any way they could, and they took us all the way to the Stanley cup final in their inaugural year with that vow. It may not seem important to outsiders, but our community will be forever grateful to the team for their fellowship. They love the city just as much as the city loves them.
#VegasStrong remembering the Oct 1 shooting that took 58 lives and harmed hundreds others. somehow people will still argue that it’s not the guns when things like this would be impossible without them.
