I attended my twice-monthly local author meetup last night. Someone mentioned working on a series I enjoy. I'm all "Oh! I love that series." She responds "Thanks! I wrote them." I go full "Surprise Pikachu" and finish the evening no longer sure how to talk or interact with people. #VTempus

Writing time travel books that take place in the future is also tricky when I can no longer assume that the future will have a semblance of a 2024ish status quo. I am proud that the content would DEFINITELY fall into current banned topics though. #VTempus

I read a blog post everyday that summarizes the news of the previous day's events. I realize that I throw myself into writing EVERY time I finish reading the post. "Writing is an act of rebellion" is a helluva motivator to keep moving forward. #VTempus #ProjectDaybreak
