Been in a mood to add some more... 'supplementary' characters to the #vvverse superhero setting owned by @chaoscroc.bsky.social.
One's a J. Jonah-like newswoman to critique heroes, another a civilian office girl, & the other a prison warden-slash-SOS agent that stands along as support to Ataraxia.

Among other things, her powers include near-lightspeed flight, the ability to project prismatic barriers or charge blasts of light through her ray gun, and the ability to breathe in space (don't ask).

Another OC made for ChaosCroc's #vvverse , Neo here is a vixen-like woman much older than she seems from the faraway planet of Verta-4. Will the fauna of Golus trust another alien after the invasion of the parasitic Viarri? Whooo knows...

Major inspirations include Suigintou of Rozen Maiden, Terrible Eye of Gwenpool, aaand of course the Black Swan. (Plus some Maleficent/Raven for the magical darkness swirling ‘round Lenore’s sceptre.)

The #vvverse superhero-villain mood has not ceased for me yet, especially when I heard of Lobo’s idea for a deer girl gothifying others to embrace their Jungian “shadows”. That dark-magical-girl kind of villain aesthetic was just too good to pass up~ 🖤

The mohawk & steel prosthetics of her “real form” & bobbed hairdo of her “virtual form” are probably my favorite parts of this sketch. As stated, Cybella likes to kidnap people & place them inside VR units where they can then act as figures in her various Stepford-style suburban fantasies; though impressively strong (and a brilliant programmer!) in the real world, she takes pleasure in playing a more soft, submissive role through her housewife-styled avatar.

A while back @trey-the-overlord.bsky.social did an RP about my wolamute hero Direwolf getting trapped inside a VR simulation by a hyena who slowly brainwashed him into her stepford-y husband, and the idea’s been bouncing around my head for months. Sooo I just had to draw Cybella myself X3

Mtech develops both electronics (like the 'Marathon' athletic smartwatch, 'Monolith' desktop computers & 'Modus' mobile phones) and robotics + weapons for the Mercian/Granadian military, with support gear for superheroes as an occasional side hustle. Workers at the company tend to have a retro-futurism aesthetic to their uniforms & operate with an efficiency almost bordering on robotic- buuut if you want REAL robots, look for the 'Maple Lees' in shiny dresses & scouters who often draw attention at any Mtech event.

Ataraxia in her 'normal' state. In addition to being based on a straitjacket, her outer coat is a visual implication of her hypnotic powers- symbolized through a spiral dress- being initially hidden until she chooses to reveal them.

With his strength-absorption power and swift 'rushdown' approach to combat, he aims to make short work of any foe before they realize his full strength...

Inspired (somewhat) by Wonder Woman, Millie is the lovely henchwoman of Mr. Minos! She may have lost some of her full power when the bull first turned her into this vintage form, but she's no less capable of surprising & restraining foes to make her boss's domestication job easier.

The #VVverse mood has not left me since first making Direwolf's character sheet, so have some more OCs I've been thinking of for ChaosCroc's Key Lime Coast.

OK, the "Venom to VV's Spider-Man" bit might be egotistical of me; they're not really rivals, but Batman/Venom had been strong inspirations to make a thematic counterpart to Victory Vixen. Unlike his aesthetic inspirations though, Direwolf is much more of a straightforward hero, always trying to inspire hope and put smiles on people's faces- guess I have a thing for characters with dark or scary appearances who are actually very noble.

I've been fascinated with @chaoscroc.bsky.social 's VV-verse anthro superhero setting since joining his Patreon server, and after several redraws I FINALLY got my own oc to toss into it.
