It reads: Dear Mr Duncan, On the 16th August you sent me a letter addressed to you from Princetown by a Conscientious Objector named Vale Rawlings who complained of his heart. After a special medical examination this man was discharged altogether from the Army, and his fare home from Princetown was paid as he was unable to pay it himself.
