A new building on Valencia St near Cesar Chavez in San Francisco. The site is still under constuction, but now that the scaffolding is gone, you can see the brick exterior. The building is six stories tall, with about 175 apartment units inside, so it's pretty big.

This parklet belongs to Radio Habana Social Club, a fantastic little restaurant/art space on Valencia St. which frequently features live bands, DJs, and Chef Manny’s paella grill. The wind appears to have flipped their parklet over, but I’m hoping they can repair it.

There is a parklet in the street and the green lane swerves around the parklet. The lane isn’t open yet, so a cyclist is riding in the car lane for now.

A sticker on a bike rack that says “bike lanes save lives”. It looks like the same color green as the bike lane does and it has the same symbol of a cyclist in it.
Some good local news: the new bike lanes on Valencia Street are coming along quickly. Last time, the SFMTA really screwed things up by keeping the lanes closed for months longer than necessary. Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson and open these ASAP. #SanFrancisco
