I've decided on the MTV-9-B-C aerobatic prop for the RV-8. It even, barely, fits the normal Vans cowling. Several months lead time so should have it early next year sometime. #vansaircraft
A blue and red can of Nyco FH 2 hydraulic fluid
MIL-PRF-83282 fluid has a high point where it catches fire, which makes it a better brake fluid. Also, it's used in fighter jets. The cans also have a really pleasing visual design. I'll be using it as brake fluid in my RV-8. #vansaircraft

To anyone else building a Van's RV-8, look ahead to the section on empennage attachment and trim your Vertical Stabilizer spar before you even rivet it. It'll be just that much easier. #rv8 #vansaircraft
