After assembling the tentacles halves together, it is now time to appliqué the flat scales on each of them. Some are suuuuper tiny !

Progress on Vel'Koz tentacles...
After sublimating them, I am now assembling the pieces together, using the lines Vel'Koz has all over its tentacles as junction lines for a seamless result. Then I zigzag stitch over every lines to add details and depth.

I actually sublimated them twice, because the first ones had giant flaws.
I decided to redo them fully and binned two whole days worth-of-work of flawed sublimated minky.
