Now that I'm done with Curse of Strahdanya I just wanna say that anytime Shepherd got emotional and his voice started to crack or whenever Kana had a breakdown I wanted to kms /hj Like here's this man, expected to stand strong no matter what, who's probably so extremely hard on himself. His soul purpose is to protect and guide everyone to safety. The burden of being the "shepherd" is placed on his shoulders and he doesn't get a choice. Then for just a moment he breaks and you break along with him. Then you have a disgraced warrior trying so desperately to prove herself. The world calls her kindness naivety and it tries to beat it out of her, unwilling she holds on to it tightly. She also holds back a tsunami of shame behind a mask because she fears that letting it go will prove that she's just as weak as they say she is. Don't even get me started on Victoria 😭 my daddy issues and self worth problems aren't ready to handle that yet 💀
