A black and white photo of ten men, nine are wearing turbans and the tenth an embroidered hat. The young man front middle looks important, perhaps a Raja or other indian royal, he is wearing a white jacket or chemise with a flower pattern and has a corsage. The three men front middle including the Raja are carrying long barrelled shotguns. Four of the men at the back are carrying hunting birds. One is definitely a goshawk.

Just found this in the family photos. I don’t know anything about it other than it will have been taken in the late 1800s and it is obviously a hunting party. #India #VictorianIndia #Hunting
