I tend to like or dislike shows based on their characters, and this character of "The Ghoul," Cooper Howard, is really strong, with a winning, complex performance behind it from Walton Goggins. There are lots of deft touches, like the fact that when he wore a white hat and was just an actor on television, he balked at even the onscreen depiction of brutal, merciless violence, yet 220 years later, he's arguably the most violent and ruthless character in his actual, real world. It's got a Westworld time-y-wimey kind of thing with the two timelines, and the character is really memorable and compelling, regardless of his ethics or morality, or whatever. He's quite antiheroic, in a way that I'm usually tired of (Walter White, much?), but which feels fresh and vital here. Idk, I kinda love this first season a lot.

I'd argue some moments from #Fallout would be iconic, if enough people watched & cared about them, which they probably would if they watched.

I have a profoundly-mixed relationship with the Fallout #videogame series, but fwiw, I think total non-fans of the IP would still like this show.
