A distant shot of a train, New Mexico hills in background and mid-ground, that has turned away from running immediately parallel the road. The train is captured just before it disappears behind the mid-ground hills. Also in the mid-ground, before the train but not obscuring it, are two small wood buildings and a trailer. The sky above is filled with clouds off which the sunset reflects pink and yellow.

If you look closely there are also a couple of small wood buildings and a trailer in the mid-ground.

From the side of the road--a blurred tree, a distant mountain.
Some photography is planned, but with many photos I depend upon the chance of the moment, which means accepting the random as an essential voice. Which sounds good, "This is what I do, this is how it works", but leaves out the fact of culling from many images. And yet that is also how it is.

Sometimes you just need to pull over on the road and enjoy the view. This picture was taken while driving on the Palisades Parkway at a scenic byways pull-off. #SparkyInspires
